Questions from first Town Hall:

Q: What Services do you provide:?

A: We provide FCS the service of having an undergraduate community.

Q: When can we form clubs, initiatives/student groups under you all?

A: Once we past a referendum on a student levy fee.

Q: Why did we not get frosh kits similar to TRSS, RLAS or RESS from the RCSS?

A: There is no room in our current budget to offer it to all incoming FCS students.

Q: Is the RCSS basically the provincial government while course unions are the municipal governments?

A: Yes exactly that. The RCSS is recognized as the undergraduate society for the Faculty of Community Services while the Course Unions only represent their course/program.

Q: Will everything we input for our community plan get enacted right after the referendum passes?

A: Yes, all the goals, events, bylaws, ect.

Q: What exactly is FCS in terms of community image?

A: FCS is a Health and Applied Science based Faculty that strives to deal with Community as our number one core value. When you walk around campus you will notice all of our programs are located within numerous buildings that reads Community Health and Health Science. Or the program is grouped in a building with similar health/health science related programs.

Q: What can we expect from the RCSS this year?

A: The RCSS this year is trying to kickstart a vibrantly engaged community. You will notice a significant influx of events, initiatives, and opportunities within FCS this year. Compared to all other years in our faculty's history of a minimal sense of community.

Q: How can I get involved with the RCSS?

A: By showing up to our events, town-halls, initiatives, or joining a services-committee.
