What is FCSS Frosh?

2024 marks the FOSC's 10th Annual FCSS Frosh an Orientation Week.

FCSS Frosh is designed for our first year student members in the following FCS Programs.

  1. Child and Youth Care

  2. Early Childhood Studies

  3. Midwifery Education

  4. Nursing

  5. Nutrition and Food

  6. Occupational and Public Health 

  7. Social Work

  8. Urban and Regional Planning 

Our O-Week will be your most nostalgic and memorable opportunity of your university career!

Frosh is a crucial stepping stone event, no matter your age. Four days of lively activities, competitions, spirit, and night socials you will remember for a lifetime! You'll meet new friends in your program, cross the Faculty of Community Services, and network with over 100+ upper-year student leaders and Changemakers.

Faculty of Community Services Society (FCSS) Frosh is an important exclusive event designed by democratically elected Community Services students on your FCSS, and the Frosh, Orientation, Spirit Committee (FCSS FOSC) for all incoming Community Services students coming onto campus for the first time in year one.

Academic Orientation and Frosh

The Academic Orientations are a part of your orientation on campus. All the Academic Orientations are happening on Tuesday, August 27th, 2024, in the morning with a smooth transition into FCSS Frosh an Orientation Week. This ensures you get the same experience and equitable opportunities for social connections as everyone else in the many Faculty of Community Services. ​
